VLC was engaged by the City of Casey (Australia) to provide transport accessibility maps in Planwisely to support their internal work on analysis related to the 20-minute neighbourhood concept.

Client requirements

The client brief was to analyse spatial data relating to a range of local job and service categories in order to produce accessibility maps showing how many jobs or how many services could be reached from each point inside of the City of Casey Local Government Area (LGA). The brief required that all data layers corresponded to 10-minute walk and cycling access time separately and providing access to the data interactively within Planwisely.

Delivered outcome

VLC carried out the analysis as specified in the brief, working closely with the City of Casey to illicit constant feedback, ensuring that outcomes were aligned with expectations.
