‘It’s always nice to be recognised, and I think in that spirit it’s worth recognising the many fabulous people I work with and role models I’ve learnt from to be in this position.’

Matt has played a key role in MOVE (Measurement of Outdoor Visibility and Exposure), helping deliver and improve crucial processes of what is a complex and constantly evolving project.

‘I’m proud of how the team has evolved with a whole new cast of talented modellers, model developers and data scientists that have joined the team since I started on the project, and it has been great to play a role helping to develop their expertise.’

Congratulations to Matt on his well-earned win, as he follows 2024 winner Cat Liddell.
